Ohh.. when the assignments.. come rushing in~

Ahh... After all that ranting for the past few weeks.
After all those weeks of attempting to be emo. I have come back to the "I am going to stay neutral" mode :D:D:D
Odd isn't it?
Since coming back to Melbourne, all I have been feeling is a very heavy feeling inside my heart and this desperation to convey my sadness to people through black nail polish, black t shirts and if I could be bothered-- a lil eyeliner. However, 2 days of events have somehow "ha dou ken" (fighting sound from "street fighters") the sadness right out of me.
There was Wednesday when I helped out as much as I could in the UNICEF bake sale. Ok. All I really did was stand around hoping someone will drop by and buy some of the cookies/cupcakes/muffins to raise funds for the UNICEF children protection fund. It was nice being part of a charity organisation again. The people there were also really nice and at the end of the day it just felt good doing something small to contribute to the $1000 we raised for the children protection fund. I came back... feeling happy.

The children are the future~

Then there was Thursday... I watched the last few episodes of "1 litre of tears". Cried like an absolute baby and maybe I have cried all the sadness out? I'm not sure but the first few episodes of the series truly made me think I was watching a really poorly done the-brady-bunch-like sitcom. I was wondering how would a show like this ever make anyone cry?! Ahh... my control over my tear ducts failed me when I started bawling for the last few and with people popping in at random moments to realise that I was crying over my laptop. HAHA! Embarassing >.< style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 348px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" height="232" alt="" src="http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a2/tinky_anne/aya.jpg" border="0">Aya Kito - First from left~

And, you have to agree with me when I say that her boyfriend is one heck of a guy to have stuck by her side even when she couldn't even speak and walk anymore. It really ticked me off when they didn't tell us what happened to him at the end of the series!!(phew.. I almost gave away an important plot line for a moment there >.<) To those who have watched the series already, don't tell me you wouldn't like to know what happened to Haruto Asou besides the obvious?!?! *im sooo curious im jumping around like im about to wet my pants* Is Dr Haruto Asou still researching the cure for spinocerebellar ataxia?

Yeah.... so basically.. after these 2 subtle but touching events I feel better. I guess everyone has to move on somehow eh?

Yes la!! I have to move on to my ASS-ignments!! AAAAAAAAAAAA!! >.<

Tips for staying in a Residential College

1. Remember to tell people when they have crossed the line. A simple "No." is enough to make people understand.

2. If people insult you indirectly, smile and say something back that implies that you do not like what he/she just said.

3. Never let people touch you inappropriately more than once 'cause once they have, they just keep coming back.

4. Always appear friendly and helpful 'cause people in college are like your extended family. They may not care as much but they are the people you have to deal with everyday.

5. Even when you're angry, it is better to keep your mouth shut 'cause ranting gets noone anywhere. Instead, take steps to ammend it but if you seriously don't care if it all goes down under then just go back to your room and study.

6. Take care of who you tell your opinions/thoughts/secrets to. College is like a bubble. Rumours circulate faster than you realise.

7. If you like being part of the college, smile and join in the activities. If you don't, STILL smile and GET OUT OF THERE and join OTHER activities at uni or even some random place that offers dance class or language classes~

8. Try not to leave toiletries/clothings behind in the bathroom 'cause other people need the space to put their stuff too.

9. Stay away from sick people even if they are your friends. Flu viruses can mutate and become so strong that one can freaking die of delirium.

10. Seriously... draw the line. I know how it's nice to be a social butterfly in a residential college and maybe i'm just anti-social by nature but I believe in letting people know when the line is crossed.

I'm annoyed at this place.

"We pay for nuts~"

honest...

How come being honest just leaves one all alone...?

How come being right just leaves one bored to tears?

I need to be proven wrong... I need to be surprised...

No, seriously. Im just bored >.<

Great Ocean Road Trip 2007

So, my cousin, Grace, decided to "swing" by Melbourne for a one week holiday after her stressful A-levels exams. Ahh... congratulations to all that I know who have gotten back their results~ All of you did amazingly well... So awesome~!!!

Anyways, back to the story. Since I haven't visited the Great Ocean Road before, I thought I would go with my fav cuzzie on this scenic route to the 12 apostles.

I guess a good thing about staying in the International House is that it is partially considered a "hotel", so they have random pamphlets lying around promoting discount rates on various restaurants and tours. I was so lucky to pick up a pamphlet by "Melbourne's Best Tours" that was promoting a one day trip on the Great Ocean Road for $94 with lunch included.

We shall now start our journey on the Great Ocean Road~

...with lots and lots of views of the beach~! *heart* I love the beach....~

Why so lucky? We only had 5 people (Grace, Ria, Christopher, random Czech guy and me) on the bus and the driver was extremely friendly.

Most of the trip was a string of beautiful views. From the beach to the rain forest, it was all absolutely breathtaking. However, I do believe all of us let down our hair and reminded ourselves that we were kids when we got to play with the birds~!

The birds flock all over Grace~

It seems I resemble a lamp post of some sort

The Bird Lady: Ria. She didn't want to leave them!

"Come my lil birdies...~" -Christopher

So all in all it was a very relaxing (we slept like logs at certain points on the bus) and enjoyable trip~ I would definitely love to go back and visit some of those beautiful towns we passed by~ My dream for a home next to the beach isn't that unimaginable after all... *drools*

And we finally reached the 12 Apostles~

We had to fight against the winds to get there (the winds were so strong we couldn't walk straight) but we got there... yes we got there... hehehe!

Ewww... so gross~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!

Normal looking kettle....

but look closely....

EWWWWWWWWWWW!!! Why are the ants multiplying in a kettle!??!?! EWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Queen Ant has gotta be somewhere... but I didn't find it as I washed the whole thing out. YERRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so geli!!!!!!!! >.<

Im not cute

No, I'm not cute

No, I can't withdraw my wall when I see your face

What I can do is stop this fake charade

I will take it at my own pace

Tell it to your face

So sick of all the courtesies

Can't I just tell you what I see?

There is a line that I wanna draw around me

So these "high school" punks will let me be

It's not only about the fakeness in the air

It's just the idea that I cannot share

I'm sorry I run away

I'm sorry that I hide

But cute, bubbly and chirpy is something I can't always be 'cause what you don't understand is that... that is not any part of me. So, I'm sorry if I don't smile at you. I'm sorry if I'd rather ditch you. It's just that I miss home that gave me the strength to fight from the inside.

I HATE THE MAN!!

This is such a 70's petition but I hate the man...
("The man" meaning the person in charge or a higher authority. Pls watch "School of Rock" for the term if you really want to.. tis where my inspiration comes from)

I HATE THE MAN.....

who made us think there was going to be a fire drill at 6:45am but forgot to confirm wtih certain technicians ( I have no bloody idea why we pay you so much)

who has a freaking mansion on freaking philllip Island

I HATE THE MAN....

who ALWAYS gets our accounts wrong

who claims accounting is the most difficult thing in the world (hello~ like 99% of the students in the college would be able to do better accounts than you. F*#$^@g man)

I HATE THE MAN.....

(more like woman) who smiles at us in the hallways but does shit for us

who earns the most from the ridiculously high fees we pay

I HATE THE MAN.....

who made my friend sit through a freaking "sauna" for a 3 hours lecture

who allows my home country to go to dirt of some unreasonable advantages for some people

I HATE THE MAN....

who made me scared to speak up back in Primary school

who made the entire school turn against the only honest and genuinely helpful club in my Secondary school

I HATE THE MAN....

who made peaceful man go out and fight a pointless war

who had enough indecency to slash a person throat with a dull knife

I HATE THE MAN....

This man... who turned us into robots...

*yells song from "school of rock"*

SSSTTTEEEPPP OOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bugger w the f*#$!@$^g man~!
